Märchenstunde

Gestern Abend habe ich mich wieder für Märchen - ein Jugendbuch - entschieden. Bei dem grauslichen Wetter und der noch grauslicheren Weltpolitik passt ein Märchen (oder halt Fantasy) recht gut.

Von Amazon sind diese Woche wieder einige Packerln gekommen. Eine Bestellung mit sechs Artikeln wurde auf 5 Packerln aufgeteilt (davon ist eines eine Neuerscheinung, die erst im Februar geliefert wird. Dafür ist eine Bestellung vom August endlich bei mir eingetroffen.

Neben einem hübschen Lesezeichen für meine Sammlung habe ich mir zwei Romane gegönnt, einen erotischen Klassiker und ein Buch über Bücher ;-) Keines der Bücher hat mehr als 250 Seiten, die werden also alle schnell gelesen sein.

Erinnerungen...

Eigentlich wollte ich als mein nächstes Buch einen Roman beginnen - aber ich habe keinen passenden gefunden. Entweder habe ich nur Fantasy hier liegen, oder ganz dicke Schmöker, die ich dann nicht jeden Tag mit mir herumschleppen will. Also habe ich einen meiner Lieblingsautoren gewählt, der Erinnerungen über das Leben seines Großvaters erzählt - aber das immerhin in Romanform. Ich habe bisher etwas über 60 Seiten gelesen, und bisher gefällt mit das Buch sehr gut.

Heute hat unser neuer Paketpostler für nur ein Buch die drei Stockwerke auf sich genommen, ein Buch, das ich Anfang November bestellt habe. Eine (Neu)Übersetzung eines meiner Lieblingsautoren, das Buch selbst wurde aber schon 1978 geschrieben und handelt von der osmanischen Besatzung in Albanien. Und da es einer meiner Lieblinge ist, wird es auch bald gelesen werden.

So long Marianne

Gestern habe ich mein Städtebuch ausgelesen. Generell hat es mir sehr gut gefallen, aber ein paar Städte weniger hätten nicht geschadet. So hatte jede Stadt nur maximal 4 - 5 Seiten, viele Städte gerade mal 2 1/2 Seiten. Manche der Städte hätte ich gerne ausführlicher beschrieben gehabt. Trotzdem ein tolles Buch!

 

Abends habe ich dann mit der Liebesgeschichte zwischen Leonard Cohen und Marianne Ihlen begonnen - und auch dieses Buch gefällt mir sehr gut, es ist flüssig geschrieben und informativ. Marianne ist mit ihrem ersten Freund nach Griechenland gezogen - und hat auf der Reise prompt einen Blinddarmdurchbruch erlitten. Ich konnte ihr die Schmerzen so gut nachfühlen. Mal sehen, wann sie nun Leonard kennenlernt.
